growing up in savannah, ga we were taught about colonial georgia throughout our education. we would dress as (mrs.) general james oglethorpe and participate in activities likely introduced by our founding fathers. one of my favorites was candle-stick making. so when i saw this DIY on {what junebug loves} i knew it was something i needed to get busy on. these vintage goblet votives would be lovely as a table centerpiece or would provide the perfect romantic ambiance bunched together on the mantel.
